I never imagined I would be making a post like this, but right now my family and I could really use some help. We have been hit by two flash floods, and the damage has been overwhelming. The first flood left about 2½ inches of water throughout our basement. Before we could fully recover from that, another flash flood came through and this time brought almost 3 feet of water into our home. The second flood was so severe that we had to evacuate. On top of everything, our insurance will not cover the damage because it is considered a natural disaster, which means we are now facing all of these costs out of pocket.

Seeing your home fill with water is something that is hard to describe. It is not just the water itself. It is watching your belongings get damaged, realizing how much needs to be repaired or replaced, and wondering how you are going to put everything back together afterward. The funds from this fundraiser will help us clean up the damage, make necessary repairs, and replace belongings that were ruined in the floods. It has become more than we can reasonably handle on our own, so I am putting my pride aside and asking for help.
