Help Nikki & Megan Recover from Helene

Hi all, I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of my good friend since middle school, Nikki Naess, and her family.

Nikki, Megan, their sons, and their dogs have all been displaced due to Hurricane Helene. The first floor of their home flooded, which has resulted in them needing new flooring, drywall, cabinets, appliances and furniture (estimated at approximately $50k).

As they live in an area that was never anticipated to flood, they did not have flood insurance, and typical homeowners insurance will not cover these expenses. Additionally, since they work out of their home, caring for dogs through Rover, they are unable to earn money currently and are paying for temporary housing. Obviously, they are facing significant unexpected expenses which have put them in a tough situation. If you are able, please help Nikki & Megan cover some expenses during this recovery period.
