Hallelujah they were able to remove it without removing any other colon she is now on the path for healing. Thank you everyone for your help, your prayers and positive thoughts.
Hi, my name is Candi, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my daughter, Nikki. So many of you have asked how you can help, and this page is the best way to lift some of the burden from her shoulders during this difficult time. Nikki is 28 years old, a devoted wife, and the loving mom of two beautiful boys. She was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and our family is doing everything we can to support her through this fight.
Life can change in a single moment. Just a few weeks ago, Nikki learned that she has a rare cancer that requires major surgery to remove part of her large intestine. This news has turned her world—and ours—completely upside down.
Nikki is the sole provider for her family while her husband stays home to care for their two young boys, ages 6 and almost 3. Their oldest son has special needs and requires therapy several times a week. She has always faced life’s challenges with strength and grace, but now she needs help.
Because Nikki just started a new job four months ago, she does not have paid time off or financial assistance. While her medical care will be covered by insurance, many other expenses will not—especially the travel and transportation costs for her surgery and treatment in Georgia. With months of recovery ahead, there will be no income to cover their family’s basic needs.
This fundraiser will help with:
• Transportation and lodging related to surgery and treatment out of state
• Household bill, and other daily necessities during her recovery
• Support for the boys’ needs while Nikki is unable to work
We know times are hard for everyone, and no gift is too small. If you are unable to give, your prayers and sharing this page with others mean the world to us. If you would like to help in other ways, there is also a meal sign‑up to support the family during her recovery. You can find the link here: https://mealtrain.com/y5mn4m
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving Nikki and standing beside her family during this unimaginable season.
