Saturday, September 20th, Nikki’s sweet pup, Pickle began having difficulty walking and signs of pain. By Sunday, he couldn’t walk, so Nikki took him to Capital Veterinary Specialists, where he’s been ever since.

The veterinarians believe Pickle has a serious spinal issue. He needs an MRI and will likely require spine surgery, followed by rehabilitation, enrichment, and accommodations to support his recovery.

As you can imagine, the medical bills and related expenses are adding up quickly. Nikki would never ask for help herself, but those of us who love her know she has always been the first to step in when someone else is in need. Now it’s our turn to rally around her. She has a strong village of family and friends, and we know many people want to support her through this difficult time.

We’ve started this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so Nikki can focus on what matters most, making sure Pickle gets the care he needs. Any amount, big or small, makes a difference. Sharing this page is also a wonderful way to help.
