Help Nikki and Her Family Rebuild After Hurricane Milton

SMPS Tampa Bay has created this page to support one of our Board of Directors, Nikki Alvarado, and her family, after Hurricane Milton destroyed their home. Unfortunately, their insurance has denied their claim and the costs of rebuilding. They now face the overwhelming challenge of starting from scratch while also hiring an attorney to navigate the process in hopes of securing some insurance coverage.

They need immediate assistance to cover hotel stays, a short-term rental, and initial construction costs as they figure out their next steps. Every donation will go directly to Nikki, her husband Preston, and their Mini Schnauzer, Teddy, to help them rebuild their home and their lives.
