Like many people in the North Sioux City, SD area, unprecedented flooding Sunday night forced Dakota Valley middle school principal Niki Herzog from her rental home with no warning. She only had time to grab a few things and was forced to leave her precious dogs, Molly and CC, behind. The devastation of her home and belongings as well as the loss of her sweet dogs is unfathomable.
