Help Nika get lifesaving treatment

My name is Laurie. Nika is my beloved 11 year old Border Collie. In August 2024 she developed a nasal discharge and vets have done a lot of tests and discovered it is a Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Unfortunately all the scans and teats have used up her Insurance allowance and she needs specialised treatment now which will cost several thousand pounds. I have exhausted my available financial resources and need help to get her the treatment. Anything over and above the costs of treatment I will donate to a local pet charity. Both of us would be so grateful if she had some help to get her the treatment she needs now. It will make her more comfortable and allow us to spend some more time with one another.

I thought insurance would always cover my pets needs but this time the vets fees have been unbelievably high and no option to spread the payments. The vets have been kind and supportive so far but the huge financial companies who employ them and own most of the practices now are purely financially driven and costs are astronomical.

UPDATE was devastated to hear today that the vets want £8000 up front or will not treat Nika. Without treatment survival will be 1-2 months- with treatment around 2+ years - normal life expectancy. I have to get it together in a week- please share all over for me and in as many places as possible.
