Help Nik Bertulis Recover After Devastating Fire

Our friend, Nik Bertulis, needs our help. On the night of September 7, a fire destroyed his home in Bolinas and nearly took his life. Nik escaped with 3rd degree burns and is currently being treated at the UCSF burn center in San Francisco. Thankfully, he is recovering well and hopes to be out of the hospital soon. Nik lost nearly all of his possessions in the fire and sadly, the homestead that Nik had been nurturing for the past ten years is lost as well--burnt to the ground. As a permaculture design artist, Nik had implemented a beautiful array of sustainable systems that were a model for ecological living within a small ecosystem. It's a tragic loss, but Nik's resilience and boundless optimism will no doubt lead him to further his life's work to nurture harmony with the natural world.
