Help Niecy Fight Breast Cancer

Hello Family and Friends,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. On October 30, 2024, my life changed in an instant. I was officially diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer, which had already spread to my lymph nodes. Since that moment, my world has been filled with countless doctor visits, tough decisions, sleepless nights, and a battle I never imagined I’d face.

Despite it all, I’ve held onto my faith and continued doing what I love—caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Helping people has always been my passion, and I’ve done my best to keep showing up even while facing this fight. But now, I’ve reached a point in my journey where I must step away from work to prioritize my health and healing.

I recently completed chemotherapy, and in just a few weeks, I will undergo a lumpectomy, lymph node dissection, and a lymphovenous bypass. This surgery will require a minimum of six weeks off work, followed by six weeks of daily radiation therapy, five days a week.

As I continue focusing on recovery, the financial burdens are becoming overwhelming. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your support. I’ve created this GoFundMe to help with my co-payments and living expenses while I’m out of work and healing.
