Hi guys.
This is Nida (in the pic below) she’s my friend and roommate and a really amazing artist. She loves to spend her entire days/nights painting, listening to songs, make people happy with her energy and manage affordable painting classes to everyone.

On dec, 19 after she woke up, she started feeling weird and unable to move her hands and fingers. The 911 came quickly and took her to the hospital.
One of the things she said before the next pic below was “I don’t know what’s wrong with me”.
Now she is intubated, unable to communicate or breath by her own. She also can’t move any thing like her arms, legs, fingers or toes, not even her head. She also needs help every 5-10 min with saliva suction. She can’t do it by herself yet.

We’re communicating using the phone, showing her the keyboard and spelling each letter so we can create phrases and help her - usually things like help with the neck or with positions so she can feel a little more comfortable.
She’s also a pet sitter and one of the first things she asked when in the hospital was about letting us know about her Rover jobs, making sure they would be taken care of. Yes, she’s committed and responsible.

The doctors are suspecting she have Guillain-Barré syndrome - auto immune syndrome that usually start in the legs and can spread to the arms and face. For some people, these symptoms can lead to paralysis of the legs, arms, or muscles in the face. We’re confident she will be okay because all the love she gave us is returning back now, we will be with her and help her as much as we can, supporting her specially with her mind - she also has depression and anxiety and it’s not on her meds because of the medication they’re giving her for the treatment.
Please, help us with anything you can so we can cover some costs like her rent and medication, and also everything we need to make sure she has someone with her all times to help at the hospital (transportation/food) and anything else she needs.
The people behind this writing are her friends and roommates (Luisa, Carol and Jared) who has spending overnights/days/afternoons with her non stopping so she can recover faster, knowing she’s loved and will be okay soon.
We believe in real love and we will fight with her. Help us to make it possible.
Thank you so much for reading till the end.
