Meet Nicoll Agudelo Jiménez, a passionate and talented 15-year-old swimmer from Colombia who has been selected to represent her country at the Virtus World Swimming Championships 2025 in Thailand!

Nicoll competes in the cognitive impairment category and has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone. Her dedication, spirit, and determination have already made her a local champion, earning multiple medals in national competitions.

Now, she has the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make Colombia proud on the world stage, but she needs your help to get there.

Despite the support from local institutions like the Governor’s Office of Caldas and the Mayor’s Office of Villamaría, there’s still a funding gap to cover travel, lodging, and to bring her coach—who is essential to her performance and support during the competition.

This trip is not just about swimming. It’s about showing the world what people with cognitive disabilities are capable of when given the chance. It’s about hope, pride, and proving that dreams can come true.
