This is our close friend Nicole, to start off she has been going through debilitating pain running from her back down to her feet for multiple years. She has seen many doctors and chiropractors chasing down what the issue at hand is. This never stopped her from being the life of the party and still finding the strength to bring herself to work everyday. This issue started to really affect her everyday life, that’s when a doctor finally gave her an MRI. This MRI became life changing for Nicole. They diagnosed her with pilocytic astrocytoma in the spinal column. Typically this is in the brain which makes her situation extremely rare and more difficult. Pilocytic Astrocytoma is a form of tumor. When discovered they put her through her first surgery. For a couple months she believed that she was fully recovering and that the years of pain and suffering would be finally over. It felt like a weight lifted off of her. During a checkup they discovered the tumor was back and bigger. Every time she undergoes surgery her risk of full paralysis increases. They rushed her in for a second surgery to battle this tumor again. This time she hasn’t recovered as well and left her with partial paralysis in the right foot, the doctors are uncertain if this will be permanent. Fast forward to now she again has been given terrible news. The tumor is continuing to grow and she needs yet another surgery to which uncertainties continue to grow.

 Nicole has been out of work due to this tumor since the begging of the year . She recently finished schooling as an aesthetician and had to leave her new job in this field due to her tumor. You can imagine going through these surgeries and being unable to go to work has had a huge impact on Nicole financially. In these hard times we are looking to give Nicole some financial relief so she has one less thing to worry about. Anything will help and is deeply appreciated.
