Help Nicole's Family Recover from Flood Damage

I’m Nicole. I’m a child of God, a wife, a mother, & a nurse. I work hard to provide for my family of 9. Recently I hurt my back while working and was off for 2 weeks. I’m finally back as light duty, but my budget is very tight. Early this morning, Easter Sunday of all days, our home was flooded due to weather and issues with the building and developing of our neighborhood and property. I am worried, but I know to trust in God because He will sustain us. We need to raise money to help meet our deductible or offset costs of repairs. Now we are waiting on some estimates for restoration and then we will get estimates for repairs. We also want to try to get ready for the next rain and try to block water from entering our house again. We purchased a brand new home 6 months ago and are dealing with a developer & builder that doesn’t want to take responsibility for errors that have gotten us in this mess. We are consulting with our insurance company on how to handle the situation to not only restore our house, but hopefully fix the problems that caused the flooding as well. If there are funds left over we would use those for emergencies, such as being forced to leave the house and temporarily staying in a hotel, or replace necessary items that are ruined by water. like most people I do not have flood insurance. It would be covered if the water was a result of a burst pipe or a faulty hot water tank, or something not considered natural. Even though this is a result of man made mistakes…

our plan going forward is to get estimates and I plan to come back and change the amount of funds needed based off of those estimates. I will no longer be making my deductible for my insurance because it is not covered anyways and our claim was denied.
