Hi, my name is Alexa and many of you know my sister, Nicole Monteleone. She is a radiant, loving, caring, hardworking wife and mother of 2 beautiful children. On Saturday April 5, 2025, Nicole was at home with her family when she started to experience a left facial droop, weakness, and inability to walk. Her husband Nicholas was quick to act and took her into the Emergency Department. The physicians administered medication that is known as TNK, to help dissolve any clots that she may have due to the stroke she was having. Doctors confirmed her diagnosis as having a stroke at the young age of 41. Nicole was then admitted to the ICU where they observed her. She began to be able to move her legs however, her left leg is still very weak. She was able to be discharged home into the care of her family and is now recovering.
Nicole is needing physical therapy to be able to walk normal again however, she is unable to work. My sister doesn't ask for much. Their family just moved to Washington State and now, unfortunately Nicole is unable to work and she is unsure of how long she will be off. Expenses raised will go to Nicole and her family to help with medical bills and home bills. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support during this mountain she is climbing like a Rockstar!
