Help Nicole Through AML Treatment
Donation protected
Nicole is a strong, fit, and happy 29 year old in good health; so when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) it surprised and shocked all of us.
Nicole is strong and will fight with the courage and bravery we all know she has; however the genetic mutations that accompany the AML require intensive inpatient chemotherapy, multiple bone marrow biopsy’s, followed by outpatient chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and full body radiation to accompany the transplant.
As anyone can imagine the financial burden of this disease is immense. Nicole is unable to work through treatment and will need financial assistance. When someone is fighting for their life often we feel helpless in what to do, if you’re looking for a way to lighten her load please consider donating financially so that her worries are lessened. If you are unable to assist financially please consider joining the national bone marrow donor list- this is the list her donor will likely come from.
If you choose to donate here the funds will help cover the following costs:
-Nicoles living expenses while out of work
- Temporary housing for Nicole (she will be required to be within 20 minutes of the hospital when first released)
- Fertility treatments to help preserve Nicole’s ability to be a mother down the road
- Medical Costs not covered by insurance
- Caregiver costs so Nicole is able to be surrounded by family while she heals.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Nicole’s story, and please feel free to share with anyone you know who may be able to help.
Best,
Carolyn
