Help Nicole & Thomas Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Life can change in an instant, and for our sister Nicole and our brother-in-law Thomas, the past year has been an overwhelming test of resilience, filled with multiple freak accidents. After just recently surviving a life-threatening car accident, they were finally preparing for a fresh start - putting their first home in Seattle up for sale, starting new jobs, and getting ready to move back to Denver. In the middle of this huge transition, the unimaginable happened.

A devastating house fire, which started from a vacant construction lot just feet away, took almost everything they owned. Thankfully, they and their two furbabies made it out safely, but nearly all of their belongings are unsalvageable. Now, instead of moving forward with their upcoming plans, they are temporarily living in a hotel, trying to process the emotional and financial toll of this devastating turn of events.

What should have been an exciting new chapter has turned into a heartbreaking setback. Insurance will help, but it won’t cover everything, and right now, we want to shower them with the support needed in order to start rebuilding their lives.

Though these two fiercely independent badasses would never typically accept help, so many of their friends and family have asked us how they can show their love and help out. This GoFundMe will be an easy and streamlined way to show your support, if you so wish to do so.

As sisters, our goal is to come together to simply help two selfless people who are unbelievably gracious and empathetic towards others during times of need, to help them get back on their feet and move forward from this tragedy, and to show them the same heartfelt compassion that they so often demonstrate to others.
