Help Keep Tenth House Thriving During This Unexpected Challenge

Tenth House has always been more than just a restaurant—it’s a labor of love, a gathering place, and a reflection of the small island community we cherish. Nicole, the heart and soul of Tenth House, has built this special establishment around quality, integrity, and supporting the people who feed us. She works closely with the SJI & Skagit Valley Food Hubs, local and Skagit Valley farms, sourcing more than 80% of ingredients locally to maintain a sustainable business model that prioritizes people and products over profit margins.

But now, Nicole needs our help.

This past weekend, after service on Saturday night, Nicole slipped on an icy back deck at the restaurant and fell, breaking her back in two places. She is now in a brace and facing a long road to recovery.

Running a small, independent restaurant in a seasonal, close-knit island community is already a delicate balance. With Nicole unable to work, Tenth House is facing immense challenges.
