Help Nicole Overcome T-Cell Leukemia
Donation protected
After several weeks of not feeling well with spontaneous nausea and vomiting, Nicole developed some difficulties breathing and made the trip to the Emergency Room in Rapid City. While in her local hospital, it was deemed necessary that she needed to be airlifted to a Colorado hospital that was more equipped to handle her symptoms.
After many tests, on June 30, 2024, Nicole was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). T-ALL is a rare, aggressive type of blood cancer that affects the development of T-cells (a type of white blood cell that helps the body fight infections). Shortly after diagnosis, Nicole's medical team came up with a plan of attack beginning with her first chemotherapy treatment on July 1.
Nicole has been supported in the hospital, where she is currently staying, by her boyfriend Gavin and her parents Mitch and Jodi.
Donations will go towards medical treatments and additional expenses incurred due to diagnosis.
