Hello, my name is Judy I have set this GoFundMe up for the family of Todd Allen with their (Dana Fech-Johnston & Nicole Johnston) permission and supervision. Todd and Nicole have 3 beautiful young children, ages: Addisyn 10, Carsyn 4 and 5 month old Avery.
On Monday, May 24th, Todd left for work early in the morning to pick up a co-worker, they got into an altercation and never made it to work. Police were notified same day of his disappearance. Todd would never disappear and not stay in touch with his family. A missing persons report was denied by Pasco County Sheriff's Office because the deputy with the sheriff's department didn't think it was needed.
Nicole never gave up hope, she was determined to find Todd. She posted everywhere she could putting flyers on all the community pages. She was able to get a hand full of people from the area together building search teams. Her search teams walked and drove miles, searching wooded areas, rest areas, construction sites & handed out flyers. They also started a FB page - Find Todd Allen. Other organizations jumped on board and offered to make flyers and help with the search.
A few media stations jumped on board ONLY after many days had passed.
Todd's car and keys were found same day he disappeared, he never showed up for his paycheck on payday. No-one heard from him. His phone went straight to VM. Still with all these circumstances it wasn't enough for the sheriff's Office to start a missing person report.
Sadly, after 2 weeks Todd's body was found in a wooded area just a few miles from his home. This has been such a devastation for Nicole, her children and the family. The Children miss there daddy, they don't understand why daddy is not here. Nicole, is devastated, emotionally drained but trying to stay strong for the children. This was a long 2 weeks of no answers still trying to be hopeful, no sleep, mixed emotions of sadness and fear, then to get the call, Todd was found, deceased.
There is an ongoing investigation by the sheriff's department. Todd's remains will be cremated and sent back to Indiana once the case is closed. The family would like to have a Celebration of Life as soon as possible then a service once his remains are delivered to his parents. Nichole and her kids will be attending both.
Nicole is struggling financially and needs us to help her during this stressful, sad time. The funds will be to help Nicole and the children travel to Indiana, so they can attend Todd's ceremony/Celebration of Life which will be done by his parents and immediate family. She will need help with travel expenses.
Nicole is also in desperate need to move. She is unable to financially stay in her apartment, it is extremely sad, depressing and emotionally difficult.
Funds will help her get through this nightmare. The family greatly appreciates everyone's help. Please keep Nicole, her children and the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers.
