Ms. Massey has been working in education for over 20 years. Everyday she works hard to motivate students and change their lives. Nicole is very committed to working with students and giving back to her community. She is also the founder of, Motherhood Matters Everyday, A Youth Ministry Leader, dance coach, and youth mentor. Like a lot of us, Nicole has conquered many hurdles in life. Knowing the great, kindhearted person she is, it saddens our heart to know that her son was wrongfully taken away. Losing custody for anyone can be very difficult. In our eyes, some of The Family Court Systems here in Wayne County has lacked the proper ability to effectively service families. Some of you may or may not know, Nikki has been a victim of mental and domestic abuse. This matter has changed many lives not only in Nikki's family life but in many of our homes across the world. Nikki's name is being slandered, but she is not letting that stop her from being a voice here in our community and getting the word out about Child abuse and Mental health awareness. The children don't have a voice so we have to be the ones to stand up to fight against it. Nicole has been involved in this custody battle for 8 years. This battle is frivolous and bears no grounds. Presently, she is only allowed to see her son 2 times a month. This is not only traumatizing for Nicole, yet also the minor child. This is a form of Parental Alienation. As we all know and have witnessed, Nicole is a great mother. She loves her children dearly! The family does not deserve this treatment. With the loss of both of her parents, she has continued to fight and gain support from family and friends. So whether you're a mom or not, to see your own child in the middle of a battle hurts and we must do all we can to keep them out of harm's way. Our goal is to get the word out. This treatment from The Family Court System should not continue. Nicole would like to appeal and fight for her son. At this time just like many she lacks the funds. In many situations, these topics get swept under a rug or people are afraid to speak out about it. We are asking you to please support! Any small donations will help or just simply a share!
