Help Nicole get to Denver

As some of you know, my wife Nicole recently fell ill with what has turned out to be a serious, but undiagnosed lung disease just before Christmas. She is unable to work due to her need of continuous oxygen at high amounts. She has been in a fragile state since then, and has been hospitalized 3 times in the past 2 months trying to figure out why her respiratory status is declining so rapidly. She has undergone every test they are able to do here in Missoula including a bronchoscope, heart cath, CT scans, echos, and every lab that could possibly be done. Her condition continues to worsen and the doctors have decided it’s time to transfer her out of state, to The Jewish National Health facility in Denver Colorado to hopefully get a diagnosis to what is causing Nicole’s sudden illness. What we know now is that she has severe pulmonary hypertension and her heart is now being affected. This has not been an easy road, and we know there can be many more bumps along the way. Nicole’s mother has flown in from out of state to stay with us and help with our 4 year old Finley while I continue to work. Nicole is unable to complete even the simplest tasks for care for our daughter right now. The support we have received through all of this has been beyond our imagination, and we are so very thankful to each and every one who has helped with meals, the care of Finley, and the emotional support we need at this time. But we are now, graciously and humbly, asking for financial assistance to ensure Nicole is able to be in Denver, with the support of myself, to get her the critical and possibly life saving care she needs. Please know that all funds raised will go directly to Nicole’s care, travel expenses and medical bills that will continue to accrue through this unforeseen journey.
