Our dear friend Nicole Duhaime has lost nearly everything in a tragic house fire that occurred yesterday, Saturday, just days before she was scheduled to sell her home on Tuesday.

Nicole was in the final stages of moving when disaster struck. While we had spent the day helping her load heavy furniture into a U-Haul, countless personal belongings, clothes, books, and irreplaceable possessions were still inside when the fire erupted. In a matter of hours, a lifetime of memories and necessities went up in flames.

In the midst of this tragedy, there is one miracle we're grateful for - Nicole's beloved pets (two dogs and four cats) were saved thanks to the quick thinking and bravery of a neighbor who risked their own safety to rescue them.

However, Nicole now faces the overwhelming task of starting over completely. She has lost not only her home but also clothing, important documents, furniture, and precious personal items that can never be replaced. The emotional and financial burden is immense.

Nicole is a beautiful, strong, and resilient single momma who has been through so much and has never given up regardless of how much life has thrown at her. It would be amazing if we could help her through this hard time so she knows she’s not alone.
