Today, Nicole Cole’s life was turned upside down when a devastating house explosion in Canton, Ohio, forced her and her three children to evacuate their home. Nicole is a single mother of three who has worked incredibly hard to provide a safe and stable home for her children. Their father passed away, so Nicole has been doing everything on her own to care for her kids. In just moments, everything she worked so hard for was put out of reach. Her home is currently not safe or habitable to enter, leaving her unable to even go inside and retrieve the belongings her family needs. Everything her family had—their clothing, personal belongings, necessities, memories, and the things Nicole worked so hard to provide—was inside that home. Now she is facing the heartbreaking reality of having to start over while trying to keep her three children safe and cared for. And with school starting, this situation is even more urgent.
