The Story

My name is Nicole Antoinette Masio, and I’m writing the book I was born to write.

The Road to Arkana is more than a memoir. It’s a breadcrumb trail for the soul — a story of unraveling, remembering, and reclaiming the self. It’s about motherhood, betrayal, spiritual awakening, and what it means to walk away from the life you built in order to become who you really are.

After a sudden divorce, years of emotional pain, and a spiritual reckoning, I found myself in the jungles of Peru — literally and metaphorically. I sat with plant medicine. I confronted my grief. I came face-to-face with my power. And I began the long walk back to my voice.

This book is the result.

Why I’m Fundraising

In a traditional publishing deal, costs like editing, design, and promotion are covered by the publisher. But I’m choosing to self-publish to maintain the soul of this story and bring it to life on my own terms.

I’ve set a goal of $7,777. A number chosen with intention. In numerology, 777 represents divine support, spiritual alignment, and being on the right path. That’s exactly what this book is and what your support allows me to walk in faith toward.

This fundraiser helps cover professional editing, book design, branding, and promotion, but it also helps sustain me during this sacred stretch of creation. It gives me the space and stability to write, reflect, and bring The Road to Arkana to life with presence, not panic.
