Help Nicole and Her Son With a Medical Emergency
Donation protected
UPDATE: Thank you so much to everyone who has given so far! You've helped Nicole heal after a very painful surgery and get back on her feet! She is working again, but life has thrown her yet another very expensive curve ball: just as she is about to move to her new place with her son, her brakes have gone out on her car. This, on top of the added expensive of moving, is a lot. If you meant to help last time and couldn't, here's your chance now!
Our beloved Nicole – bubbly, hilarious, fabulous Nicole – has been sweating her incredibly talented ass off since she moved to Austin to make it in the Austin music scene – and she did it! Those of us who love Nicole know that she’s spent countless hours driving to gigs, hauling around heavy equipment, and wiping off the road stains and sweat to look fresh as a daisy and sing as sweetly as the Songbird she is. It’s not easy to make a living as a full-time performer in Austin, but Nicole has been pulling it off by the skin of her teeth even as she works tirelessly to be a good mother to her kids. We don’t know how she does it!
Anyway, Nicole recently found out that she needs to have a hysterectomy (full or partial) due to a painful growth on her lady bits, as well as a few other procedures, and she’ll need to take 1 – 2 months off work to recover.
On top of that, Nicole recently gained emergency custody of her son. To properly take care of him, she will need to move to a more expensive place and increase her rental costs. NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR PAINFUL GROWTHS ON ONE'S LADY BITS, UNIVERSE!
Unfortunately, there is just no changing the Universe’s mind on this one: Nicole needs our help, badly. She’s calculated that she needs about $10K over the next few months to cover the expenses the insurance won’t pay AND to cover her living expenses while she recovers. While every little bit does help, please consider BIG, FAT donations instead, mmkay? WE LIKE BIG BUCKS, AND WE CANNOT LIE.
We appreciate your help so much.
