Help Nicole and Ashaad Rebuild After Tragedy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tasha, and I am the sister and aunt of the victims. Unfortunately, my sister and nephew experienced a tragic domestic/family violence incident on Mother’s Day 2025. Nicole and Ashaad are in need of help securing stable housing and reestablishing themselves. Nicole is a mother of 4.
On Mother’s Day 2025, a devastating tragedy unfolded in Chalmette, Louisiana. In an act of courage and desperation, a 16-year-old boy fatally shot his father while trying to protect his mother from a violent domestic attack. This heroic and heartbreaking moment changed everything for a mother and her children.
The family had already been facing severe hardship—homelessness, living in a motel, while struggling to stay safe, and survive. This tragic incident has left them even more vulnerable, traumatized, and in urgent need of help.
Now, this mother must rebuild her life and care for her family. They need your support to find safe, stable housing, access counseling services, and meet their basic needs while navigating the emotional, and financial aftermath of this event.
How Your Donation Helps:
· Securing safe and permanent housing
· Covering basic necessities like food, clothing, and transportation
· Providing mental health support for the family
· Helping the 16-year-old navigate trauma recovery
No one should have to experience this kind of trauma—especially on a day meant to celebrate motherhood and love. Your support can make a life-changing difference for a family who has lost so much but still has hope.
Please donate what you can and share this campaign.
Every dollar and every share counts. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
