Help Nicole & Alexis Secure a New Home after Tragedy

Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and cherished community,

My name is Nicole, and I come to you with a heavy heart and beg of you to help us possibly secure a home and be homeowners in a once in a lifetime opportunity. As many of you know, my beloved husband was tragically taken from us in our home by a family member battling schizophrenia. Since that heartbreaking day, my daughter Alexis and I have been enveloped in profound grief, navigating life without his warmth and guidance.

I kindly ask that you don't give up on us and please read in entirely and know from my heart this will not be just another GoFundMe but its our last hope. It’s hard to find the words to convey how profoundly our faith has been tested after this but we now have our testimony, and this is genuinely our only chance to get this home thru this campaign. This campaign holds a delicate glimmer of hope that feels almost out of reach, one we can only grasp with your support. Your compassion and understanding would mean the world to us during this incredibly difficult time.

In the midst of our sorrow, I have been working tirelessly to provide for Alexis and I, but it has been a severe struggle on a single income. Recently, however, a glimmer of hope emerged when we applied for a homeownership program for low-income families. After an extensive application and selection process, they gave us the incredible news that: we have been accepted into the program.

This opportunity would finally allow us the possibility to secure a brand-new home and be homeowners. This home would be a sanctuary that Alexis and I could truly call our own. The mortgage is designed to be affordable for families like ours, offering a path to a fresh start and the stability financially and emotionally that we have longed for amidst uncertainty. My daughter Alexis would have peace of mind and a feeling of safety and security in our own home. After tragically losing my husband as a mother I can't help but wonder if heaven forbid anything happen to me where would my daughter go...So to have a home we owned would be both a profound relief and a heart-wrenching blessing.

Alexis has a deep love for nature and the outdoors. She would find solace and peace gardening or planting in our front/ backyard. Her bedroom would become a canvas for her creativity, a space where she can express her artistry and make it her own. The comfort and peace of mind that would come from knowing we are finally okay would mean the world to us, allowing us to embrace the joy of our newfound stability.

Though it is now just the two of us, and we are all we have left, we are determined to rebuild our lives and seek a brighter future. This rare opportunity feels almost out of reach, and I can’t help but believe that my late husband would want us to seize this chance, even in our grief, and not let our hope fade away.

If you can find it in your heart to contribute, any amount would mean everything to us. Your support would not only help us to continue our dream of homeownership but also bring much-needed light into our lives during this difficult time. We feel lost without the guidance of my late husband, and your generosity would remind us that hope still exists, even in our darkest moments. A simple share of our link is worth a million dollars in our hearts.

Thank you so much for your love, kindness, and generosity.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Nicole and Alexis
