Nicole Rogalla Final Wish
Donation protected
Dear Friends of Nicole,
On Tuesday October 1st at 5:52PM Nicole made her final journey home to be with her Lord and Savior. She fought a courageous battle over the past 4 months in the hospital. She leaves behind her 10-year-old daughter, and the rest of her family. We are heartbroken. Any funds left over from her hospital bills and final expenses will be put in an education fund for her daughter. Please continue to share her fundraiser so we can help Nicole achieve her dream of sending Aaliyah to college.
Note: Once arrangements have been made, I will share them in another update.
My name is Jamy Brice-Hyde, M.Ed. Dear friends, I have never reached out for help, but we are in desperate need! I am desperately trying to raise money for my cousin Nicole Rogalla and her soon-to-be 10-year-old daughter. Their family is overwhelmed with this situation, so I have offered to coordinate and update a GoFundMe to help.
Here is her story:
In February, Nicole found a blood clot in her leg and found out she had a mass in her pelvic region. After multiple hospitalizations, it was determined it's not cancerous; however, they have been unable to remove it. In July, Nicole turned septic while in a rehab facility and was life-flighted to a Pittsburgh Trauma Center where she spent close to two weeks in the ICU on a ventilator and a feeding tube. On July 12th, she had emergency surgery on this mass because it was pushing on her kidneys, causing renal failure. She is now on dialysis weekly. The fluid buildup is causing lung and breathing issues, placing her on continuous oxygen. Nicole continues to be hospitalized and has been in and out of the ICU. She has a long road ahead for her recovery, and her resources have dwindled. HER EMPLOYER HAS LET HER GO BECAUSE SHE IS HOSPITALIZED AND CAN'T GO TO WORK! Now Nicole is facing medical bills, a mortgage, and months of recovery ahead while her family helps with her daughter. Nicole needs resources to assist her through this medical emergency. It would mean the world to our family if you would donate. ANYTHING you can give will help our family take care of Nicole who is only 38 and her 10-year-old daughter.
Funds are being used for medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. Nicole's diagnosis is a rare disease she will need to confer with out of network specialists. Initial consults with these specialists run 1600-1800 dollars per consult. She will need additional care and help at home.
