My best friend Nicole, a 42-year-old single mom in Mobile, Alabama, is facing a life-altering medical crisis.
What started as a sudden and frightening health emergency quickly turned into something far more serious. Nicole was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a large brain tumor in the front of her brain. This has turned her world upside down in an instant.
Nicole had surgery, which went well, and still has a long, uncertain road to recovery. Along with the fear and stress of this diagnosis, she is also facing an overwhelming financial burden. She lost her health insurance at the beginning of the year because of subsidy cuts and does not currently have health insurance, and the costs of emergency care are already piling up — including ambulance transport, ER visits, ICU, brain scans, specialist care, surgery, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing treatment.
On top of that, Nicole will be unable to work for an unknown period of time as she focuses on healing.
Anyone who knows her knows she and now she needs our support more than ever.
We are asking for help to cover:
• Emergency medical expenses
• Brain surgery and hospital stay
• Medications and follow-up care
• Lost income during recovery
• Money for a bankruptcy attorney
• Basic living expenses while she heals
If you can donate, no amount is too small. If you can’t, please share this fundraiser — that alone can make a huge difference.
Let’s come together and help her focus on what matters most right now: healing and getting through this.
Thank you for your support, love, and prayers.
