Hi, my name is Nicole.

I’m raising funds to get through a very difficult month after multiple setbacks that have all hit at once.

Over the past year, I’ve dealt with inconsistent pay from an employer, unpaid contract work, and ongoing medical expenses that have made it hard to stay financially stable. I’ve been working to recover, but things haven’t lined up the way they needed to.

More recently, I discovered a serious gas leak in my apartment that created unsafe conditions and added a lot of stress and disruption.

During this time, my dog Riley Suede became very sick and, heartbreakingly, passed away. I am still trying to process that loss, and there is a strong possibility that the gas leak contributed to his illness. Losing him has been emotionally devastating.

Right now, I’m facing the reality of needing to cover rent and essential expenses for this month while I continue working and waiting on payment for work that has already been completed.

I’m doing everything I can to stabilize my situation, but I can’t absorb all of this at once on my own.
