Hey guys! I’m Leigh and I’m making this GoFundMe for a dear friend of mine, Nicole, who has to have yet another spinal procedure done for the immense pain she has from her back to her legs and feet. She is an amazing friend, wife, and mother to her young daughter. She is one of the most selfless people I know.

Over the past 5 years, she has received four laminectomies, two full and one partial discectomy, nerve cauterizations, and over 20 epidural steroid injections, and years of physical therapy. She also underwent an experimental procedure at Johns Hopkins where they filed down the channels her nerves pass through to prevent pinching. The procedure she needs now is where they implant an Abbot Spinal Cord Simulator, which intercepts pain signals sent from the damaged nerves to her brain and turns pain into a buzzing feeling. This will hopefully be the last procedure she needs to finally not be in pain every day.

She recently found out her insurance will not cover ANY of the cost for the surgery center. As all of you know, medical bills can come out of nowhere and are a huge financial and mental strain on an entire family. While she has been able to come up with most of the money, we need a little extra help to make sure she gets this procedure. Your donation would help her live a normal, pain-free life.
