My name is Lupe, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my cousin, Nicolas Peraza, a brave and loving 19-year-old who is fighting advanced Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor (MPNST) — a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Nicolas is full of energy, hope, kindness, and dreams for the future. And motivation to move forward. On the verge of adulthood, he is putting those dreams on hold and leaning heavily on his family as he faces this devastating illness. He loves competing in nationwide competitions of jiu-jitsu. His spirit brings joy to everyone around him, but now he and his family are confronting one of the most brutal battles imaginable.

He is undergoing extensive treatments, including chemotherapy and specialized care, which are taking a significant toll on him physically, emotionally, and financially—his parents, who are very hard workers, are fighting this battle against cancer alongside Nico. The costs of hospital stays, medications, travel, and daily living expenses are overwhelming, and his family needs our help to keep going.
