Nicolai was in a wreck; he rolled, flipped, and completely totalled his truck. He was thrown almost 100 feet from the vehicle- broke both arms and legs, his neck, back, pelvis, and some ribs. He requires a minimum of 4 surgeries, and extensive rehab/in-home care. He is completely immobile, and will be for a long time, but thankfully this won't be forever. We just bought a house together this year, and will now be trying to pay mortgage and regular bills in addition to these steadily increasing medical bills. I am taking on full-time caregiving responsibilities, and therefore can't continue working for the time being. It pains us both to ask for help, but we can't manage without it. Anything helps. ❤️
