Help Nico Stay at SVA

Hello everyone, I am a student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I am fundraising for my roommate, Nico. Nico is a first-year illustration major from New Orleans. Despite struggling with homelessness and poverty all his life he has managed to gain the absolute maximum financial aid that SVA has to offer. There are end of year evaluations and scholarships given at SVA so I have no doubt he will receive even more aid next year but for now, he needs your help. He has saved from previously working, but against SVAs lack of meal plan and supplying materials, even with Nico's frugality there's not enough to cover tuition. Due to his family situation, he is unable to find a co-signer that is willing and eligible to take out private loans. Through all of this, he is here. He has persevered and no one deserves this opportunity like Nico does. He is an incredible artist and his ability to create makes the world a better place. He would be a great addition to the professional art world. We appreciate and love having him in the dorm and his dedication is inspiring. Staying at SVA would help him go from an already great artist to an amazing one, it already has! He would not waste the education gained and I know he deserves to be here. Please help us make sure he can stay at SVA!
