Hello! My name is Carolyn and this little sweetheart is my fur baby Nico. He is a Yorkshire Terrier and cute as a button as you can see. He's three years old and very near and dear to my heart. Nico has recently been diagnosed with bladder stones and has been dealing with them for several months. We have tried changing his diet and put him on prescription food to help dissolve the stones, per his vet's instructions but that has not helped the situation. Unfortunately, little Nico will need to have surgery in order to remove these stones as they are not dissolving on their own and causing him to get infections and be uncomfortable and in pain. Being a senior citizen, I am on a fixed income and the surgery will cost a total of $2000 even with his medical plan. This will cover the surgery, his medications, as well as his after care needs. We have been blessed with some assistance from his veterinarian through HOPE and they will cover $1000 of his surgery, but we still need help. He is a very active and playful little guy and he and his brother Sergio are truly my best friends. We are now appealing to our friends, family, and anyone who may be able to help us with Nico's medical bills so that he may have this surgery to remove the stones and give him a much better quality of life.
