Help Nico Fight Neuroblastoma
Donation protected
My name is Nico and I have just turned 9 years old! I have high risk neuroblastoma!
I was first diagnosed with this disease in Oct 2014 at the age of 4 years old! I was extremely brave and endured 2years of treatment including surgery, chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy. And it paid off. I went in to remission. That was until last week when a routine test discovered that my cancer was back…
I have been diagnosed with a large but operatable brain tumour (6cm x 4cm x 2cm). I am scheduled for brain surgery to remove the tumour early next week. The tumour will then be sent off for genetic testing to see what treatment options are viable specific to me.
It is going to be a long road to recovery.
We have been told by our doctors, that even with all this intense treatment, due to the nature of high risk neuroblastoma, there is a very high risk of relapse.
And when relapse occurs there is only a 1 in 10 chance of survival.
This is why Nico needs your help.
Your donations will help alleviate the financial burden that comes with extensive medical treatments, including potential future treatments, as well as help Nico’s parents Michelle and Acel, with household expenses so they can focus on supporting Nico emotionally and physically through her long recovery.
We are not sure what the future holds, but we are remaining positive that she will beat neuroblastoma once and for all!
If you could please donate whatever you can we would be forever grateful. Even if it is $1 it all helps!!
Thank you!! :-)
