Help Nicolas Fight Leukemia & funds for Seattle

I’m not exactly sure on how to start this but I guess I’ll start from the beginning of it all.. April 2024 I was diagnosed with CML short for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia which is a type of blood cancer. I remember feeling hopeless at the time because I had never had to deal with a health issue like this one before. My oncologist came to me quickly and gave me my options and that was to take a chemo pill that I would take every day that would manage the cancer so that I could live a normal life. Even though the oncologist and doctors didn’t want me to work I didn’t want to ask anyone for a hand out and feel like I was bothering everyone so I continued to work. Few months of taking my medicine went by and I had never felt more alive and happier. My medicine was working and I felt normal again. Around late September of 2024 is when my chemo pill stopped working and my bone marrow also stopped producing like it should. So after trying other different chemo pills, multiple doctor appointments, hospital visits lasting weeks from having no cells to fight off infections, and multiple procedures, I felt like I had no choice but to stop working in order to stay alive and keep safe from infections. We are now down to my only option which is a stem cell transplant to replace my bone marrow and get my cells producing again. Since this journey is soon coming to an end I’ll need some help financially getting the rest of the way or just a simple share of my story to get it out to people. Thankfully they have a donor ready for me but before that I’ll need to find a way to get to Seattle the 26 of December for a bone marrow biopsy and then I’ll have to come back home to right after because results will take a few weeks. As soon as that comes back in they’ll schedule me to come in for pre transplant to get me ready and that will take 2-3 weeks then transplant will be ready to go so about 3-4 weeks in the hospital for the transplant and if everything goes good I’ll be able to get discharged with antibiotics and a pump machine but this is where it’ll get tricky for me because I’ll have to live in Seattle for roughly 4 months to go to appointments at the cancer center . They said there’s housing programs but with everything going on I can’t do it financially by myself . I’ve applied for disability but I am still waiting on them so I will be making a go fund me here soon if anyone would like to donate to help me finish out the rest of my journey to being cancer free I’ll post it on Facebook tonight and the comments of this post and if your not able to donate I’ll appreciate a share just the same as a donation. Thank you to everyone who’s already helped me get this far and I’ll never forget everyone that has helped already, this is a chapter of my life that’ll always stay with me. Prayers to being cancer free in 2026♥️.
