UPDATE: It has been two weeks since we started this fundraiser and we could not be more happy and feel touched for all the love and support Nicolas received from so many people! 
To this day, 21/Oct/2021 No money from the fund had been withdrawn in order to get to the top and then transfer the whole amount to Nico's account. However, we will stop receiving funds as of today and will commence with the process of withdrawal and transfer, and have this generous activity finished. We think that the money collected is enough for the expenses that the situation brings out.

Nicolas Peña is a Chilean Student living in Perth for the last couple of years. His life was going just fine until he got terrible news from his doctor when they told him he had a Bacteria posed in his heart for a while, and that he needed an open heart intervention urgently to remove it and reconstruct the damage.

Nico complies with a mandatory Health Cover, but as you know, many other costs are out of this kind of medical coverage, such as hospitalization fees and expenditures related to his post-op recovery.
His condition is quite rare but can be fixed. Fortunately, after the medical process, he will be able to return to his student life in Australia.

He does not have a family here -as the vast majority of overseas students- so we, as his agency, wanted to step up and help him creating this fundraising and trying to get as much help as possible.
