Help Niko Beat Throat Cancer!
Donation protected
Our sweet boy Niko was recently diagnosed with a rare form of squamous cell carcinoma (cancer) in his throat. Doctors say with chemo it is likely that he will live more than a year. Without it, we will need to say goodbye to him in the next month or two.
It’s very hard for us to ask for financial support but at the same time, we want to do everything possible for Niko’s health and appreciate anything you can donate to help with his treatments. We’re setting the goal at $10,000 based on the estimate the Vet has provided so far.
We understand that not everyone will be able to provide financial support but anyone can help by sharing this link with friends and family.
"Dogs might be in just a small part of our lives, but to them, we are their whole life." Laura and I want to make sure that Niko has the best life possible.
**Update**
Niko underwent his first round of chemotherapy on February 1st thanks to your generous donations. He is generally tolerating the chemotherapy well and will receive his second round on February 22nd. Laura and I are eternally grateful and extremely touched by everyone’s generosity.
Unfortunately, one of Niko’s incisions from a prior tumor removal got infected and he needed another surgical procedure done to washout the wound.
This has been very hard on our family. I’m only able to work limited hours because of an injury I have, so your financial and emotional support means the world to Laura and me. Thank you.
