Help Nick's Mom fight

As you may have already heard... my Mom was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Although she wanted to continue working, the additional stress and demands that were placed on her by her boss were just too much for her to handle at this point. It was only after her boss was made aware of her diagnosis that he started making all of these changes to her job and its requirements. So... she really hasn't been left with many choices. She has decided to take an unpaid leave of absence from work to focus on her healing for the time being. This was a very hard decision for her because she has always had such an unwavering work ethic. She had said time and time again that she wanted to work through her chemotherapy treatments if at all possible.
Considering this is a Hospice organization that she works for, we are all extremely heartbroken that there was such a lack of compassion shown to her. However, her health is more important at this point! That additional stress was causing nothing but problems for her health and interfering with her healing. It was only getting worse by the day (unfortunately that was kind of the point of her boss).
Because this will be an unpaid leave (she is not eligible for FMLA with disability because she has not been with this employer for a year), this is just one more stressor in her life that she shouldn’t have to deal with right now. She has spent her whole life helping others! I now want to do whatever I can to help her when she needs it the very most. She is in the fight of her life right now with the cancer, mounting medical bills, and if she does seek legal advice for the discrimination at work, she will have potential legal bills as well. We truly just need her to focus on her healing right now.
Many people have asked how they can help... Well, if you could donate any amount of money, and/or share this with others, we would be forever grateful. My mom has spent her entire life putting good out into the world, and now I am hoping that just a fraction of that can come back to her now. At 51 years old, she has so much life ahead of her. It is imperative that she focus on her healing now, so she can get back to that life that she knew before this cancer struck. She has a long road ahead with 5 months of chemotherapy and then surgery after that. We just want to take the financial burden off of her so she can focus on the things that are truly important during this time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Again, if you could share this with your friends and families we would be forever grateful. Also if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Thank you!!!
