Please help Nick after a devastating fire. Nick and Ashely have a son together and they also house and help their friend Brett, who has lost his leg from health complications. Nick grew up in foster homes and couch surfed for many years. Nick has worked to improve his life and is always helping others. Nick was renting a house from me and working to buy the house. Late Sunday, Nick's van caught on fire and the fire quickly spread to the house and garage. The house is mostly destroyed and the garage has no power. Nick manufactures mats and tumbling equipment out of the garage for my company. Nick took in Brett 2 years ago when he was disabled and could not live alone. After the fire Nick cannot work because the garage work space is unsafe and Nick badly burned his hands attempting to extinguish the car fire, as he realized the fire would spread to the house and garage. Nick, Ashley, their son and Brett are in need of help to get a place to stay until the insurance can get a plan for the house. I have a heated, carpeted garage for a living space and they are camping out on makeshift beds. They have use of my kitchen, bathroom and other living space but it is not ideal. Nick has always given to help others. Any help, even $1, spread over many, can add up quickly!
