Help Nickole Brown and Malaprop's Bookstore Recover

Teacher/poet/animal rescuer Nickole Brown is both a beloved member of the writing community and a resident of Asheville, NC. In true form, she has been out tending to her community with her dog-companion Solace. All of this while grieving and taking stock of her own losses.

This fundraiser aims to address the loss of her book collection, one she'd been nurturing since being a child-poet. Books may seem like a less crucial need after a hurricane. Losing them, however, can be very destabilizing for one whose work and soul reside in them.

Once the fundraiser is completed, the funds will be transferred to Malaprop's Bookstore, an independent bookseller that is also recovering. This will be a two-fold way to support Nickole and her beloved homeplace.
