Nickie Dom, my mom, has always been a source of strength for our family. For years, she has battled two autoimmune diseases, enduring a knee surgery and two ankle surgeries, with more procedures still ahead. Despite her own health challenges, she put her needs aside when my dad became seriously ill. After contracting Covid, he became bed bound, and his health declined rapidly. We lost him in December of 2024, and since then, my mom has been struggling both emotionally and financially.

Without my dad, my mom could no longer afford their home. She put the house on the market right away, but it needed some remodeling before it could sell. The process took over a year, and her savings are running low just to stay afloat. Through it all, she hasn’t been able to take care of her own health, as every resource went toward keeping a roof over her head and managing daily expenses.

Now, we are trying to help her move into a condo where she can start fresh and finally focus on her well-being. Any support to help with her daily bills and transition would mean the world to us.
