Help Nick's road to recovery

I am setting up this page for my brother Nicholas. He was in an awful accident Monday night while on his motorcycle. Upon impact he was thrown 9 feet in the air and when he fell he sustained several serious injuries. His motorcycle ended up underneath the other vehicle involved and dragged about 50 yards. Luckily the police had witnessed the accident and responders were able to get help to him quickly and we are so grateful for that.
He was admitted into the ICU Monday night and has had to go through several surgeries now. He sustained injuries to his wrist that required surgery, broken tibia that penetrated through the skin and a broken pelvis in both front and back that will also require extensive surgery and a hematoma to the nether regions.
Nick has a young family he provides for and is that person that would give you the shirt off his own back without a second thought. He spent several years in the military and is the kind of person anyone can get along with, because he’s such a genuine person that looks out for everyone else. He’s got a great sense of humor and even in this time he has kept his humor and kindness all while in a lot of pain.
He’s got a long road of recovery ahead of him and I wanted to create this fund for him to help with the expenses. Hospital bills, specialists, physical therapy, and the regular monthly bills as he will be out of work and bound to a wheelchair for several months while recovering from his injuries and insurance and any savings isn’t going to cover everything.
Any little bit that you are able to give helps tremendously. Even sharing this is so incredibly helpful and we would all be so grateful. It’s going to be a long road but if we can all come together for him and his family, it makes things a little less bleak. Thank you so much.
