This is for my friend's nephew, Nick Yakimow. Nick has been through a rough two years. His very turbulent divorce proceedings have finally been settled after two years of multiple court appearances. And now he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor-Glioblastoma. Even with treatment, his prognosis is grim—one year to live. Wednesday July 16 is GBM Awareness Day. Nick will be having surgery Thursday, July 23rd to remove as much of the tumor as possible.

Nick's family is hoping to raise money through this GoFundMe to help with the debt incurred by the divorce proceedings and to help with the cost of the treatment he needs for the brain tumor.

Nick is an all-around fun guy, loves his music, and is willing to help anyone. He would give the world for his three children. He and his family are completely devastated by the news of his illness and the prognosis.
