My name is Lita Caldera. On Wednesday, October 15, my 31-year-old son, Nicholas Wurm, an Army veteran, had a blood clot go to his brain, causing a debilitating stroke affecting his speech and one side of his body. A second stroke occurred on Friday October 24 and he was airlifted to Gainsville FL to have the clot surgically removed from his brain. The surgery was a success and he is on the long road to recovery. He is the sole source of support for his young family as a crane operator. His wife and 4 children, ages 11, 4, 3, and 1, depend on him for survival. He is currently in speech and occupational therapy. His family needs help for their support while he recovers. Please consider helping this young family while my son fights for regaining his brain function so he can go back to being the amazing father, husband, and provider his family needs.
