On July 21st, our dear friends Allyssa and Robbie got the call every parent dreads. Their son Nicholas had been assaulted at the local recreation center. His attackers beat him to the point of unconsciousness while onlookers videotaped and cheered his assault. His injuries landed him in the ER, where he was diagnosed with a broken jaw (in 3 places), a severe concussion and whip lash. Repair of his jaw required an extensive 2.5 surgery.  Nick's mouth will be wired shut for 6 weeks.

While they have only requested love and prayers, we are wanting to support our friends during this difficult time, and to help ease the financial burden from these unexpected medical & legal expenses. Thank you.
