If you don't know Nick, he is one of our favorite people to be around. Fun, knowledgeable and hardworking; Nick's on a super difficult journey towards a PhD in Geology. He's almost ready to graduate from UC Berkley with his undergrad degree and is currently deciding where to pursue higher education (he has quite a few prestigious options to sift though). This journey, however rewarding, takes up almost all of his time, and requires focus that most of us can't even muster. That said, he relies heavily on financial aid and small grants -- and we all know that that money is not a lot and goes quickly, especially in the Bay Area.

 

Recently, our beloved friend Nick has had a run of bad luck - first his laptop - his means of completing all his school work is in need of major repair. In addition to this major setback, Nick was in a car accident this morning. Thankfully, he's not injured. He was T-boned in an intersection in Berkeley near school, and will need to make major repairs on his Nissan Xterra. School is his main priority, and we fear insurance will not be kind in helping Nick make all the necessary repairs to both his computer and car.

 

Anything helps! We all know and love Nick and want him to be able to continue on towards his educational goals, so please show him some much needed love.
