Help Nick T.

On January 4th, 2018 my brother Nick went into surgery for what we all thought would be routine brain surgery for a pituitary tumor that had gotten too large. The surgery took six hours and the tumor was tangled up in several veins and nerves.  The tumor was so large the doctors needed to remove fat from his stomach to fill in the hole the tumor left. The complexity of the surgery has left my brother with several complications.  He is blind in his left eye, has been in and out of ICU, on a ventilator, on a feeding tube, has trouble moving, and is battling pneumonia.

As of today Nick is still in ICU, but doctors are hoping he will be able to go to a rehab facility soon, where he could stay up to six months or even longer.  The road to Nick's recovery is going to be very long.

Nick has always been a selfless guy.  He would do anything to help anyone who asked him. We hope after his recovery we still have that selfless guy. We created this page for you to help show your support.  We will post updates on Nick here and you can share encouraging words for Nick as well.
