Hello everyone. This is Nick Soto, a caring and generous man. He’s always willing to help everyone out without asking for anything in return. Once he got sick, people he thought were his friends disappeared. My family is the only family he has known for 40 years.
Update July 27th, 2025:
On July 21st Nick lost his battle against cancer of 3 years. He passed away peacefully surrounded by friends who he considered his family. We know he is no longer suffering and is in a better place now. My family would like to provide Nick with the burial he deserves to have. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your donations. It means a lot to my family.
Earlier this year in February, he was having symptoms that led him to go to a hospital. He was experiencing intense pain in the right side of his ribs, fatigue, and a high fever. They ran tests and diagnosed him with stage three liver cancer. During that hospitalization, he had an emergency surgery to remove half his liver. After the surgery, they started him on chemotherapy to avoid it spreading to the rest of his body. He has been hospitalized five times since February, the most recent one being earlier this week on September 16th. On the 17th, they did a PET scan and discovered that it spread to the right side of his lungs. He now has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. He is in constant pain, has trouble eating, and is having trouble breathing. He can’t move at all and feels very weak.
My family decided to start a GoFundMe due to the medical bills. Thank you to anyone who has read this. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
